Six in a row. It was sunny and mild today. Not a cloud in the sky. With the temps in the mid 20s at the start we decided to get to the slopes as early as we can make it. We were on the lift at 9am. This was the earliest we have made it this year. After the first run, we meet three of our friends who had started skiing at 8:30am. They try and get the first lift everyday and ski on completely groomed trails. It was fun til 10:15am when they called it quits. We continued skiing til 12:30. After having lunch at the Summit House, we made it down the mountain via a trail they call GO DEVIL. It is a steep Black Diamond trail that brings you back down to the Mountain house.
With the mild temps, the workers were able to start removing snow which had piled up on top of the Summit House restaurant. NO SNOW for the next 6 days.
