We awoke to 1 inch of new snow and a crystal clear morning. It was warmer in the mountains then in Denver today. After breakfast, we put on our snow shoes and walked across the lake to the boat marina where they were having the Wind-Skiing Championships this weekend. The event was suppose to start at 11am, but because of NO WIND, everyone was sitting around with their kites. A few of them were having the framework of their kites blown up with air. Around 2pm, the wind picked up and by 2:30pm, the wind had reached the 12 MPH needed for the contest to begin. Sunday afternoon are the finals. Lets hope the wind comes up early.
